Ecotours Chile Private Tours has developed this superb experience for you, visiting Casablanca Valley from Santiago on private services.
Casablanca Valley Wine tour takes you to visit a beautiful area only 80 kilometers from Santiago city. With more than 6.000 hectares of vineyards, it is recognized nowadays as one of the premium regions of cold climate and as one of the most moderns Valleys in winemaking of Chile.
You'll be able to visit organic and biodynamic wineries such as Matetic and enjoy lunch at prestigious restaurant Tanino, from Casas del Bosque winery. We added the spectacular Viñamar winery on this trip, so you can taste some of their fresh wines from Lleyda Valley.
Testament to how important the region has become, Casablanca has even been compared to the legendary Napa and Sonoma valleys of California. Although the whites clearly take precedence, some cool climate reds also do well in the higher sections of the valley; as Pinot Noir and Syrah.

Our last stop will be at Matetic winery, located in the Rosario Valley, situated between the coastal valleys of Casablanca and San Antonio.
The visit begins at the Emporio Viña Matetic. Here, visitors will be cordially welcomed by our bilingual guide, and will be invited to discover the Rosario Valley, learning about the winemaking process, our terroir, and our organic and biodynamic agriculture. The visit finishes with a tasting of 4 of our wines; two glasses of premium Corralillo wines and two glasses of ultra premium EQ wine in our Emporio, where visitors can buy their favorite wines, browse gourmet products, and purchase souvenirs and locally made handicrafts.
Matetic wines are the fruit of the distinctive terroir of the Rosario Valley: old granitic soils, together with the pronounced costal influence from the Pacific Ocean, are determining factors in the production of wines with a sense of place, and true to their origin.
Once the tour ends we'll drive back to your Hotel in Santiago and dropp you off. End of services.
