Detailed itinerary

First destination will be the place called Fourni (1h away from HEraklion port). Fourni is a traditional Cretan village with a rich history located near Agios Nikolaos. Visitors can take a leisurely stroll through the village, witness its historical traditional architecture, and enjoy a coffee or fresh orange juice in one of the local cafes.

Stop 2

The tour will then continue to Agios Nikolaos (almost 1h away from Fourni village), a town located on the northeastern coast of Crete. The road to the town takes an unusual route, offering a 30minutes stop at a fantastic viewpoint of Spinalonga, a breathtaking island fortress. Visitors can explore the town, visit the famous lake and stroll along the harbor. Agios Nikolaos is a popular tourist destination with a rich cultural heritage, charming architecture, and bustling atmosphere.

Kritsa is a charming and traditional Cretan village located near Agios Nikolaos (15 min away). During this visit, guests will get to immerse themselves in the local culture and history as they explore the village's narrow streets, quaint homes, and beautiful churches. Kritsa is known for its traditional architecture, intricate hand-woven textiles, and rich history, making it a must-visit destination for those interested in Cretan culture and heritage. After visiting Kritsa village there is a 1 hour drive back to the port of Heraklion.
