Take your Train from here to Agra
On arrival in Agra at 09:50 our tour representative will meet you on Agra Cantt Railway Station outside of your coach. Now you will proceed to your first exploring monument (The Taj Mahal).
It was built by the Fifth Mughal Emperor Shahjahan in the memory of her beloved wife Mumtaz Mahal in mid 17th Century. Rest of the history and culture will be explained by our tour representative.
Lunch
After visiting Taj Mahal you will proceed to Agra Fort . This is one of the UNESCO WORLD HERITAGE SITE. It was the residence of the Mughals which includes the royal Palaces of Jahangir and Shahjahan, diwan-e-aam , diwan-e-khas and much more palaces inside.
"Itimad-ud-Daulah is the first monument in India built entirely with marble. The tomb was built between 1622 and 1628 by the Queen of Jahangir, Nur Jahan as a memorial to her father, Mirza Ghiyas. Mirza Ghiyas was an imperial officer and bestowed with the title of Itmad-ud-Daulah (Pillar of State) by Emperor Jahangir."
After visiting Itimad-ud-daulah you will visit Mehtab Bagh also known as sunset point explore the rare view of the Taj Mahal from across the river Yamuna. This place is perfect for photography in love taking pictures. Please note: This is an optional building if you have time
