Detailed itinerary

This full day tour begins early in the morning. On a prescheduled time, a modern and fully air conditioned bus will pick you up from your place of accommodation in Izmir. For the purposes of this tour, an assigned tour guide will be with you. The guide will let you know important details about the sights and answer questions you might have.

As the road trip to Pamukkale takes approximately 3 hours. You will have a short comfort break on the way. There is a local cafeteria in the facility where you can buy some breakfast for your self. The breakfast is not included in the price so feel free to enjoy anything you want and get the energy you need for the day.

Stop 3

Pamukkale forms a picture-perfect backdrop that has a long history. Among the most notable spots to visit is the infamous Pamukkale Travertines. This mountain is made of limestone and has a charming white colour. The terraces are filled with water from the nearby thermal springs. The area is famous for the existence of thermal springs, so if you are interested you may visit the Cleopatra’s Pool, an antique thermal spring, and swim at an extra cost. Except from the natural wonders, in Pamukkale there is also an ancient city, called Hierapolis. The settlement used to be an important spiritual hub during antiquity and there, you can observe many interesting ruins.

You will have around 3 hours free time in Pamukkale.

After spending some time in Pamukkale, you will continue with the second part of this tour, which takes place at Ephesus. Just before, you will enjoy a tasty lunch break at a local restaurant. Lunch will be open buffet and is included in your tour price.

After the lunch break in Denizli, we will drive to Selcuk (2 hours drive). This is the Turkish town where we have the remians of the ancient city of Ephesus.

Forming one of the greatest cities of the ancient world, Ephesus still charms and lures visitors. The ancient settlement projects excellent aesthetics with marbles structures and interesting architectural style. The infamous Temple of Artemis used to be there. However, today, you can only admire the ruins. The tour guide will guide you through Ephesus and you will visit many interesting locations and sights.

This amazing full day experience finishes during the late afternoon. After spending some time exploring Ephesus, we will drive back to Izmir. With a sense of sweet tiredness, but full of great memories you will arrive at your hotel.
