About this experience

Come and join us for a Beautiful horse drawn carriage ride throughout the countryside. Our tours take you around a Private Country Estate near york.

Your tour will last approximately 1 hour and incudes a stop for a selection of teas and coffees. You may spot a glimpse of deer or buzzards on your journey.
After your tour we have a tea room in the village where we offer lots of tasty treats. Afternoon cream teas, ploughman's lunches . Please book this before you arrive. The carriage is for your own group and never shared with others.

Join us for a beautiful horse drawn carriage ride around the private grounds of Escrick Park Estate.Your carriage awaits you on the outskirts of the park in Skipwith Village where you will be greeted by your driver Gordon, and one of his carriage horses . Climb aboard our carriage and prepare to take in the views, make yourself comfortable as Gordon and the horses take you on a tour of the woodland tracks and country lanes within the estate. Lucky visitors may spot a glimpse of deer or buzzards while meandering through the trees.Carriage rides last approximately one hour. We advise passengers dress warmly and bring gloves in the colder months. Suitable for all the family.
We have a open top carriage for the warmer months . And when the weather is wet or cold we have a carriage which is enclosed with windows so you can still enjoy your ride. The closed carriage will have fluffy blankets and cushions and hot water bottles if needed
