Our first stop will be the famous Rusizi National Park, Bujumbura's leading top attraction. Welcome to the Paradise of Birds Crocs, and Hippo in Burundi. Our next stop on this amazing tour of Bujumbura will be Rusizi National Park a national park in Burundi it is the main tourist attraction in Bujumbura City not to be missed located next to the Rusizi River. It is 15 km north of the city of Bujumbura and is home to hippopotamuses and sitatungas. We will take a guided boat trip tour to explore the meeting of the famous Rusizi river mouth jetting itself into lake Tanganyika. Small group tours equal a better experience.

Driving along the shores of lake Tanganyika discover Burundi's biggest brewery, National Port, and many tourist attractions along the way to Burundi's premier horse riding and world-class golfing experience. We will stop here for approximately one hour to explore the Cercle Hippique of Bujumbura
Our trip will carry over Bujumbura's biggest zoo, the Living Museum of Bujumbura is a zoo and museum in Burundi. We will stop at this amazing attraction and historical place of independence of Burundi which occurred on the 1st of July 1962. It's a must-see on your Bujumbura City tour. We will visit also the Monument of the heroes of Burundian democracy. Where the first historically democratically elected president namely Ndadaye Melchior his cabinet members and members of parliament were assassinated by the extremist Tutsi Army after being in office for only three months.
