About this experience

Ride in style from the Redondo Beach Pier to the Santa Monica Pier and back on a single charge! This is a 4-Hour Self Guided e-bike tour. Enjoy stops in Hermosa Beach, Manhattan Beach or Venice Beach along the way. Other e-bike rental durations are available for the self-guided tour. Guided tours are available on Saturdays.

Our friendly team will give you suggestions on where to visit up and down the coast along the beach bike path on your self-guided tour. Come to our shop at the top level of the Redondo Beach Pier parking structure. There is plenty of parking with flexible time limits and we are right on the beach bike path.

You will receive an orientation to the electric bike to make sure you are comfortable. Our e-bikes are comfortable, high-quality beach cruisers built by the Electric Bike Company. Helmets, locks are included. Liability waiver required prior to riding.

Detailed itinerary

Start and end your self-guided tour with a visit around the Redondo Pier and Harbor areas. Our shop is located in Building 129 at the Pier Plaza. You can enjoy the pier, boardwalk and harbor before and after your ride. One of the few wooden piers on the California coast features restaurants and shops and activities such as fishing, whale watching, sunset cruises, paddling and e-biking. You'll find multiple eateries offering great food and drinks and live music on the weekends.

Manhatta Beach Pier

Ride the beach bike trail north from Manhattan Beach toward Marina Del Rey. Enjoy the sights along the way. Watch for dolphin sightings.

Take an optional snack break at Playa Provisions on the way to Marina Del Rey

Take a photo near the creek. Watch the sailboats leave the marina. Great birdwatching here.

Ride the bike trail around the marina harbor on the way to Venice Beach. Take an optional break at the Trader Joes shopping center.

The bike route takes you back to the beach near the Venice Beach pier. Stop for photos or keep cruising north along the boardwalk.

Cruise to the iconic Santa Monica pier which features rides and games and places to eat and drink. Take some time here for fun and photos or turn around and head back. This is your day!
