Walking by the main square of the neighbourhood to reach our food tour destination we'll see the ancient church of Santa Maria, shining under the light with its golden mosaic façade.

The king of the roman street food.. The supplì! This place made supplì as roman grandmothers used to do, juicy and filled with mozzarella cheese, you can't miss it.

Here you'll have a taste of "pizza and mortazza" , typical roman sliced pizza with a kind of salami. The reason why roman people create this kind of pizza goes back in time and only few people know about it. The tour leader will satisfied your curiosity!

As crossing the bridge to reach the bakery where we'll have a typical roman dessert, we will pass by Isola Tiberina, an island on the Tiber with the shape of a boat. The tour leader will narrate the unexpected legend behind this particular construction!

After supplì and pizza, the dessert is a must. In this long-standing bakery you will taste the famous maritozzo, sweet bread filled with cream. Roman dessert 100%!

One of the best carbonara of Rome is made at this restaurant together with a particular kind of fried vegetables.
