Mt. Helgafell or Holy Mountain as it is called in English is one of Reykjavik´s signature mountains and is popular amongst its inhabitants.
We pick you up at your hotel and drive to Kaldársel. We park the car and start our hike to the top which will take less than 2 hours.
The view is absolutely amazing and you can sign the guestbook located at the very top. You will be able to see over the Reykjanes peninsula and its many volcanoes, lava fields and the capital area.
The hike is suitable both for beginners and experienced hikers
