Detailed itinerary

1

A natural wonder of Fiji with nearly 700 acres of sand dune and tropical forests. You will witness well-preserved unique natural geography teeming with wildlife. The Park forests are home to over 37 species of bird, 8 of which are endemic to Fiji. This includes the Fiji Bush Warbler, Fiji Goshawk, Many Coloured Fruit Dove and the Fiji White- Eye. The Park also holds much archeological significance with clues to man’s first arrival in Fiji. An ancient burial site with over 50 individuals was uncovered during 1940s. Pottery shards and other cultural materials were also found within the park which presented possible connections with Lapita culture from New Caledonia.

2

Picturesque town of Sigatoka.
Charming handcraft store immerses visitors in the fascinating world of Lapita pottery, an art form that has been a significant aspect of Fijian and Oceania culture.

3

Historical site of a Tongan settlement in Fiji.
Ramians of hill fortifications rich with memories arching back to the time of Colo Wars when indigenous people of the interior of Viti Levu resisted British colonial rule.

4

A resting point of the tour. Guests are welcomed to explore the historical town famous for its agricultural heritage.
Many food vendors and restaurants available for lunch break.

5

Located on the western side of Viti Levu, the site is one of the six-gun batteries installed during the WWII for the deference of Fiji against possible invasion by the Japanese.
