The Grand Palace is the first royal palace built during the Chakri Dynasty of Thailand. It has been the official residence of the Thai royal family since 1782. Before 1925, it was the seat of the Siamese royal family and the court. Today, the Grand Palace is the venue for the Thai royal family to hold major ceremonies and receive state guests. It is open to the public at other times and has become a landmark and important tourist destination in Bangkok.

2

The Emerald Buddha Temple is a place where the Thai royal family worships the Emerald Buddha statue and holds religious ceremonies. It is named after the Emerald Buddha enshrined in the temple. Tickets for the Emerald Buddha Temple are the same as those for the Grand Palace.

See the giant reclining Buddha and traditional Thai massage school, foot therapy is recommended.

4

Take a ferry across the Chao Phraya River and climb the main tower to overlook the river

The Bangkok Art and Culture Centre (BACC) displays many classical artworks and galleries, as well as bookstores and coffee shops.

6
Stop 6

7
Stop 7

Known as the "most dangerous wet market", vendors set up stalls on both sides of the railway track every day. When a train passes by, they quickly put away the shelves, and resume normal life after the train passes overhead. The market retains the original local life atmosphere. You can shoot videos of trains passing through, and buy tropical fruits and dried goods. It is recommended to check the train schedule in advance (usually passes by at 8:30, 11:10, 14:30, and 17:40 every day).

8
Stop 8

The most classic floating market around Bangkok, with hundreds of wooden boats loaded with tropical fruits, coconut smoothies and boat noodles shuttling through the canals. Visitors can rent long-tail boats to travel among the boats, trade "boat to boat" with vendors and experience traditional Thai water trade.
