If you book the last Colosseum entry slot of the day, you won’t have time to visit the Forum or Palatine afterwards — they will already be closed. That means you’ll need to visit the Forum and Palatine either before your Colosseum time slot, or the next day, as long as it’s within 24 hours of when you first entered one of the sites.
The visit may begin either at the first entrance of the Colosseum or at the Roman Forum and Palatine Hill.
