Important notes

WHAT TO BRING
This is a list of items that are not required, but recommended in order to make your rafting adventure as satisfying as possible.
• Quick drying clothes: nylon shorts, synthetic fleece, polypro, capilene 
• Sunscreen
• Lip Balm
• Shoes or sandals with a heel strap (no flip flops)
• Sunglasses with a strap
• Waterproof cameras
• Bathing suit
• Change of clothes (include a hoodie or jacket in case it’s chilly at the end of the trip)
• Drinking water
• Hats (Helmets provided)
• Guide gratuities are greatly appreciated.

What NOT To bring:
• Avoid wearing cotton, as it makes you colder when wet.
• Don’t wear Flip Flops or Crocs.
• Anything valuable that you do not want to risk losing.

Provided:
• Helmets and Type V Coast Guard Approved PFD’s (Personal Flotation Devices or “life jackets”).
• Nice sanitized wetsuits, splash jackets, neoprene shoes and dry bags for a small rental fee.
• All needed equipment for your adventure.

DIRECTIONS:

From BRECKENRIDGE (1 HOUR)
• Hwy 9 south to Fairplay.
• At the traffic light, turn right onto Hwy 285 south.
• Drive 35 minutes to a cluster of businesses called Johnson Village.
• We are the third business on the right.

From LEADVILLE, COPPER MOUNTAIN, FRISCO, SILVERTHORNE, DILLON (45 MINUTES TO 1.75 HOURS)
• Turn off I-70 at exit 195 (Copper Mountain/Leadville exit).
• Take Hwy 91 south through Leadville (turns into Hwy 24 east).
• Continue on Hwy 24 east two miles past Buena Vista.
• You must turn left at the traffic light to continue on Hwy 24 east.
• We are the fifth building on the left.

From DENVER (2 TO 2.5 HOURS)
• I-70 West to C-470 east (towards Colorado Springs) to Hwy 285 south to Johnson Village.
• We are the third business on the right.

From COLORADO SPRINGS (1.5 HOURS)
• Hwy 24 west to Johnson Village.
• We are the 3rd business on the right.
