Esentepe Valley's panoramic view point
offering outstanding view of a spectacular lunar-landscape . See the patchwork of valleys below, rock formations, and cave houses. It’s able to see Mount Erciyes in distance – the volcano that created this striking landscape three million years ago.

Note: The rest of the time will be spent for transport to get from one place to the other.

An original untouched local cave house , we will unveil a hidden cave dwelling’s door to see how an untouched cave house’s interior looks like and your guide inform you about how Turkish-Cappadocians were living in such unique houses from 1920’s to 1990’s. Not only the Turks ; People in Cappadocia have been living in caves for literally centuries, they dig out by hand from the earth. The unique texture of the volcanic cave houses in this region has inspired many architects. The stone nature of the cave houses provides that they stay cool in the summers and warm in the winter, making it ideal. Over the years, the vaulted ceilings and windowless cubbies have been renovated and transformed into some of the most luxurious hospitality venues of the Cappadocia and world.

A must visit geological wonder. That is the base for the stunning volcanic formations . Nature's erosion process in fascinating display ! Millions of years of wind and water erosion have sculpted soft rock into forests of mushroom-shaped peaks, dubbed "fairy chimneys." the towering rock formations which are now the symbol of Cappadocia.

Afterwards short drive to Devrent Valley, also known as “Imagination Valley” It is one of the few places you can immerse yourself into Cappadocia’s most surreal-looking lunar landscape where you will witness mother nature’s sculpting artistry. We will walk through this fascinating valley to see naturally shaped unique rock formations that resembling human , animal and other various figures. . Some of the most famous, or the easiest to distinguish, animal shapes are the camel, snake, seals, and dolphin . Let your imagination run wild to find many more !

Than proceed to Avanos town . This small town sits next to the Turkey’s longest river, Kizilirmak (Red River).We’ll Explore today’s fascinating culture. The art, creativity and endeavor of it’s men and women manifest in its pottery and rug weavings. Avanos is very well known with it’s red earthenware pottery that was first discovered by the Hittites during the Bronze Age. Since 2000 BC potters in the town has been obtaining red pottery clay from the river and with their marvellous touches clay turning into piece of arts on to primitive kickwheels. We will see a pottery studio set in a cave complex that also offers pottery-making demonstrations, and the chance to spin a bowl yourself.

Lunch in a stylish authentic cave restaurant.Amongst the main course varieties pottery kebap is highly recommended. It is an Anatolian speciality prepared in a clay pot or jug. It’s usually made with beef or chicken with vegetables like tomatoes, eggplants , onions, garlic, and potatoes. Traditionally cooked in a tandoor or clay oven, the pot is sealed with bread dough and left to simmer in its own juices for hours. When ready, the blazing hot jug is brought out and cracked in front of you, releasing the aroma of its still gurgling contents whilst treating the diners to a little tableside theater. It’s a tasty spectacle a must-try for anyone visiting Cappadocia.

After lunch drive to Goreme Open Air Museum.The crown jewel of Cappadocia’s historical sites. Between the 2nd and 11th centuries AD, Goreme Valley was a hub of Christian activity. We’ll discover the fresco-adorned rock-cut churches with dazzling wall decorations .Museum is listed as one of the ‘’World Heritage Site’’ of UNESCO. Frescoes of the chapels here certainly one of the greatest venues of medieval art in the world, During our visit we’ll see Dark Church (Karanlik Kilise ) as well (Extra admission fee of the church is included) .

At the end of the day we’ll see the tallest (60 meters / 200 feet ) and largest stunning volcanic formation named as Uchisar Castle within the boundaries of Uchisar town which is geographically the highest point of entire region .

Due to it’s strategical position looking over the surrounding area with views for miles, residents could see any enemy armies that might be approaching. In history that’s the reason why all ancient civilazations who lived in Cappadocia used here as their military base, observation and defense point.
From here you’ll have the most breathtaking, panoramic views of the nearby towns, valleys and magical fairy chimneys.
