The first place to conquer is an old city Shemakha used to be the capital many centuries ago. Here you will see the first mosque in Azerbaijan. Built in VIII century it has room for 2000 person to pray at once.
Then you will gradually cross mountains and stop at forest of Ismailli region. Imagine, the hanging bridge you are about to cross was the only way to reach opposite villages for many years.
The next coming is Gabala – region to gather all highest peaks of Azerbaijan. Here you will walk around Nokhur Lake, all green and pure.
The main sight of the city is Sheki Khan Palace, a truly outstanding building piece by piece made by hand in XVIII, an international UNESCO heritage.
Caravansarai of XVIII century will take you to the atmosphere of Medieval Bazaar with merchants from all over the world.
