About this experience
In the just opened Museum in Florence about the history of the Medici family you will find the story of all the characters of the Medici family: beautiful ladies, cardinals, popes, alchemists, knights and wives of kings, like Catherine and Mary. The Medici were patrons of paintings, sculptures and palaces, scientific discoveries and the best musicians of the time. A specialized guide will guide you along this path.
Among the many exhibits, the hologram of Cosimo The First's grand-ducal crown, the official dress of Eleonora di Toledo and their set table!
In the museum we let ourselves be carried away by the Renaissance music of the compositions of Lorenzo the Magnificent and by the beautiful and unfortunate Isabella de 'Medici, who was murdered by her husband out of jealousy.
Cosimo The Third Medici, the penultimate of the Dynasty, created Chianti as an important wine region, with the first disciplinary of the Chianti League. We will end this tour with a Chianti wine tasting!
