The first stop will be Taormina, where we will visit Corso Umberto: the main street with the shopping arcade. Here it will be possible to go shopping.
From the Corso, we will head towards the Public Villa, characterized by a collection of succulents and shrubs from the southern Mediterranean.
We will stop to taste the famous Sicilian arancini and artisan cannoli.
Next, we will visit the Piazza Duomo, one of the most famous monuments of the city. Together with the nearby 13th century Piazza Duomo Fountain.
We will continue with a visit to the Church of San Giuseppe, located next to the Torre di Mezzo, built between the end of the 1600s and the beginning of the 1700s in Baroque style.
We will look out from Piazza IV Aprile to enjoy an extraordinary view overlooking the sea.
During the tour, you will have the opportunity to choose whether to visit the Greek Amphitheatre. However, this option will be evaluated based on the smoothness of the tour and the waiting time for access.
In Giardini Naxos a boat tour awaits us that will take us to the marine reserve of Isola Bella in Taormina. As soon as we arrive, we will take a short walk in the bay of Naxos overlooking the Taormina promontory.
Immediately afterwards, we will head to boarding for the tour in the reserve which will take us to visit all the bays of the marine park, the Blue Grotto and Isola Bella, where a small aperitif will take place on board with prosecco and almond pastries, dessert typical Sicilian.
If the tour takes place in hot periods, we will have the opportunity to swim in the sea. Once the excursion at sea is over, we will be ready on board for the transfer in time for boarding the cruise.
