Market of Ancient Olympia, Olympia, Greece
Discover the birthplace of the Olympic Games by first visiting the archeological site. You will admire the stunning view of the most famous monuments such as the ancient stadium, that hosted 40.000 spectators sited,the temple of Zeus and Hera’s and many more.

Stop 2

where you will see the metopes from the temple of Zeus, the magnificent statue of Hermes of Praxiteles, the statue of Nike of Paionios and the helmet of Miltiades, a famous general from the Persian wars.
You can also visit the Museum of the History of the games where you can learn more about how the Olympic games begun and the sports they were included.

You will learn a lot about the production of honey and have the chance to try it as well.

A great place for the Summer with lovely view of the bay of the Ionian Sea where you can enjoy a drink and swim.

We visit the monastery if you want to follow the tour schedule if not we can visit another place of your choice at the same distance. The monastery is located, between the villages Lanthi and Labeti on steep rock with an amazing view of the mountain Erymanthos and the forest of Foloi.
