About this experience

A value-priced cultural experience course to enjoy Japanese traditional culture easily. And this lesson offers you a unique double experience: the making of a gold “makie” crafting experience, and a lesson in the art of perfecting your matcha.

Experience the traditional Japanese craft of "kinpun makie (gold powder lacquer art)".
Delicate and beautiful maki-e has a long history and is an art filled with the Japanese sense of beauty. Using this technique, you can create your own original mini coaster, the only one of its kind in the world.

You can take your finished work home as a souvenir. The coaster comes with a stand for display and can be enjoyed as an interior decoration.

In the Matcha tea experience, you will make your own Matcha and enjoy it with seasonal Japanese sweets.
