ITINERARY
Day 1. Arrive Cochin and Check in at hotel. After relaxing embark on a tour of the area (3 to 5
hours. )
Day 2. Visits in Cochin. This day is for complete exploration of Cochin both its heritage and
modern parts. ( 8 hours)
Day 3. Drive to Munnar. After checking in the hotel and lunch embark on a visit of Munnar town.
Day 4. At Munnar sight seeing. Munnar sightseeing visit Tea factory, Tea Garden etc. and later
leisure.
Day 5. Drive to Thekkady.
Reach Thekkady in the evening.
Check in at pre booked hotel.
Day 6. At Thekkady. Early morning leave for Wildlife Sanctuary Visit. Later after breakfast do a
forest trekking or visit a spice and herbal garden.
Day 7. Drive to Alappuzha. Check in at hotel. After Noon embark on a back water cruise in a
Motor Boat / Shikkara.
Day 8. Return to Kochi.

From Kochi after receiving you from the pickup points we will drive to Munnar approximately 5 hours
After picking you up you hotels ( or the points informed ) we will start the tour from Kochi.with vists of attrction there.
First we will go to Fort Kochi to visit attractions there like heritage monuments and life and culture of people.
Chinese Fishing Nets is the first attraction that we will visit on the first day.
After Chinese Fishing Nets we will visit the Church of St. Francis. It in this church that Vasco da Gama the great sailor was first buried.
From Fort Kochi we will go to Mattancherry where we have to visit the Dutch Palace.
Near Mattancherry we have Jewish Town. We can walk around Jewish town to admire the town and look for antiques handicrafts and spices here as this is a popular tourist centre.
At Jewish Town we will visit the ancient Synagogue.
This is the second day itinerary which is to take you to Thripunithura, was the capital of the royalty of Kochi.Here we will visit the Royal Palace of the Kochi Royalty.
Later we will go to the Maradu whole sale fruits, spices and vegetable market.
Ernakulam is the down town and M.G. Road is where the shopping destination of Kochi.
We will visit also the renovated Kadavumbhagom Synagogue which is beautifully preserved by the lone member of the community with the help of the international Jewish loyals.
In the evening we will also witness the "Kathakali' the classical dance of Kerala.
This is the third day of the tour. This day it is a drive to Munnar ( 5 hours.) We will stop at towns like Kothamanglam, Neriamangalam, Adimaly, Valparai Water falls.
This is on the way to Munnar. Adimaly town is the trade centre for various spices, retail and whole sale shops with cardamom, black pepper, ginger cloves etc.,
It is small town on the way to Munnar> Ideal stop for tea/coffee and snacks.
We will stop at Chiyappara water falls which is a popular picnic spot on the way to Munnar.
This is the second day of Munnar.
This day we will spend seein the sites like Eravikulam National Park ( subject to the opening of the park for tourists.
It is 1 hour to drive from Munnar to Eravikulam National Park. This national park is where the Neelgiri Thar ( the mountain goats - the endangered species ) are found in large numbers.
We will visit this tea museum at Munnar this day..
It is in Munnar we see the most beautifully maintained tea plantations are found. We will drive around these plantations and stop for a few times for wonderful photos.
This is the fifth day. After Munnar this day we will drive from Munnar to Thekkady or aka Periyar Wild Life sanctuary. It is 4 hours drive.
This is the 6th Day . We are at Thekkady aka Periyar Wild Life Sanctuary
This is the 7th day. This day we will travel to Alappuzha.at Alappuzha. we will check in to a hotel and later we will go for cruise in the backwaters in a pre booked houseboat for for 3 hours.
