About this experience

Explore "Essentials of Kochi & People. Experience traveling in Indian Ferrari ( Tuk Tuks ) and Public Buses. All attractions of Kochi is included in the tour. You are met at the Cruise Terminal in case you are arriving by sea (Our staff will hold the page board with your name.) or at the lobby of the hotel where you are booked to stay.

You will be transferred to an air conditioned Car or Van to heritage area of Kochi Then ride in tuk tuks to the attractions in Fort Kochi. After visiting Chinese Fishing Nets and Church of St. Francis board a public bus to travel to Jewish Town. Alighting from the bus do a soft walk to the Jewish Town. At Jewish town visit synagogue and Dutch palace. Later wander around the Jewish town looking at the buildings of the Jewish settlement or go for shopping or sit on the balcony of a restaurant or inside the court yard of a Jewish house to enjoy a tea or coffee and Indian snacks.
Board the air conditioned car or van to drive back to your ship./ hotel.

From the harbor or hotel the tour will in car / van drive to Fort Kochi. (30 minutes).

At Fort Kochi the members of the tour group will board waiting tuk Tuks.

I the Tuk Tuk the tour will go to the Fort Kochi beach where the Chinese Fishing Nets are.( Vasco da Gama Square.)

First thing to visit at Fort Kochi at beach will be the Chinese Fishing nets.

From the Church of St. Francis the tour will walk to Santa Cruz ( 15 minutes)

Visit the Santa Cruz ( 15 minutes)

From Santa Cruz the tour will walk to the Fort Kochi Bus Stand ( 15 minutes. )

From the Chinese Fishing Nets the tour will walk ( 5 minutes to Church of St. Francis.

Visit the church ( 15 minutes).

From the Mattancherry Bus Stand the group will walk to Mattancherry Palace Museum which is also known as Dutch Palace. Visit the Dutch Palace ( 30 minutes )

After the visit of Dutch palace the tour will walk to Jew Town ( Jewish Town) ( 5 minutes )

The Jew Town is fascinating with the ancient residential buildings of the Jewish people who lived here 450 years back. Now these buildings are shops for gifts.

Wander around Jewish town ( 30 minutes )

The tour then proceeds to the Synagogue to see the oldest synagogue in the British Common Wealth and counted as one among very few orthodox synagogues in the world.

Visit the synagogue ( 15 minutes)

After this visit the tour will end and all the travelers will be transferred to the starting point.

From Fort Kochi the Tour will travel in a public bus to go to Mattancherry. (30 minutes)
