The tour involves a morning drive to the above villages which give you opportunity to find life of people civilized with great sense of hospitality. The tour visits preserved synagogues at above places which were ancient Jewish Settlements.in India.

A lunch break in a beach restaurant and a drive to the modern city of Kochi to visit a synagogue of the Malabar Jews which is preserved by the present warden is added attraction of this tour..

Detailed itinerary

We will receive you at the hotel where you are booked to stay. If it is to Kochi Port you are arriving we will meet you at the port by the side of the ship.

From the point of pick up the tour will proceed to Jewish Town to visit the ancient Synagogue and the town of early Jewish settlers. ( Closed to visitors Fridaysafternoon and Saturdays.).

From Jewish Town the tour will go to Mattancherry Palace Museum aka Dutch Palace Museum

From Mattancherry Palace museum the tour will go to Fort Kochi beach to watch Chinese Fishing nets in operation all over the beach.

From the Chinese Fishing nets the tour will go to Church of St. Francis to pay homage to Vasco da Gama where he was originally buried when he died in Kochi C.E.1524

Ethiopian Jewish settlement and the ancient Synagogue. ( Monday Holiday)
(Drive from Kochi is 1 hour 30 minutes one way to the preserved Synagogue. Only if you have ample time should insist to go to visit this Synagogue.

At noon the lunch is taken here in the restaurant of the Cherai beach Resort.

After lunch the tour will return to Ernakulam Kochi..
At Ernakulam the tour will visit if time permits this synagogue. From Friday to Saturday the synagogue is open to Jewish visitors.upon special request.
