This is at Fort Kochi Beach. The fishing gadget introduced by the chinese traders in 14th century is still used here.

Bastion Bungalow is an architectural splendor, which was built in 1667 by the Portuguese in the Indo - European style. It was constructed on what has been considered the Dutch Stromberg Bastion. It is Dutch-style architecture and built into the ramparts of a massive fortification wall.

The Paradesi Synagogue aka Cochin Jewish Synagogue or the Mattancherry Synagogue is a synagogue located in Mattancherry Jew Town. It was built in 1568 A.D. by Samuel Castiel, David Belila, and Joseph Levi for the flourishing Paradesi Jewish community in Kochi. Cochin Jews were composed mainly of the much older Malabari Jews and the newly arrived Sephardic refugees from the Portuguese religious persecution of Jews in Spain and Portugal.
