About this experience

Kailua is home to beautiful beaches, local eateries, and locally owned boutique shops. Kailua is also home to the world-famous Lanikai Beach, the beach that most residents of O'ahu consider their favorite! Lanikai Beach, with it's striking white sands, and crystal blue water is also visible from the Lanikai Pillbox hike, a relatively easy trek, renowned for it's beautiful views of the windward side of O'ahu! Guests often hike this trail, then retire to the beach to enjoy the cool waters and laze in the sun. If you are more interested in a laid-back island style vacation, you can browse some of the local eateries, boutique shops, or make your way to the Kailua Town Farmer's Market to see all sorts of local goods and goodies. Whatever you like, Kailua is sure to have something perfect for you!

After we board the vehicle, we will be making the roughly 25 minute drive to the windward side of O'ahu to visit the quaint town of Kailua. Our driver will park in a central location of the town and explain all the tips and tricks to making the most of your day here, including all the must see attractions. Guests will then be free to roam around the town and the surrounding areas, at their own leisure. Some must see attractions in the area include, the famous Lanikai Pillbox hike, the Kailua Town Farmer's Market, and various local eateries and boutique shops. Kailua is also famous for being home to the beach that most residents of O'ahu call their favorite, Lanikai Beach! Guests will meet back at the van at 5:15PM in order to depart by 5:30PM and make the journey back to their hotels!

There is a popular Farmer's Market in the area with plenty of options for snacks and treats. Make sure to bring cash if you are planning to purchase anything from this market
