This Christmas tour is unique in that it takes you to some of the most special and festive holiday highlights in Seattle area. The Christmas lights in the botanical garden are beautiful and the Snowflake Lane holiday parade on Bellevue Square is one of a kind.
We will meet in Seattle downtown at the big Christmas Tree at Westlake Park. We will drive for about 15 minutes to Bellevue Botanical Garden which has a holiday exhibit - Garden d'Lights. Here there are more than 500,000 mini-lights in three-dimensional plant and critter shapes spread out throughout the winter garden. I will take some photos of you in the Garden d'Lights and we will also see the gingerbread house exhibit.
Then we drive to the Snowflake Lane also in Bellevue where it "snows" nightly on a parade of live toy soldiers and other characters, floats, music and a light show. It is the region's most festive holiday scene with a cast of 300 performers including toy drummers, jingle bell dancers, stilt walkers and 16 floats. I will take photos of the parade. After the 30 minutes outdoor Snowflake Lane show we drive back to Seattle downtown.
We will meet at the big arch in Westlake Park on 400 Pine St. I will be wearing a pink flower fleece so it should be easy to spot me.
