Stop 1

8:00 -8:30: We will pick you up at your accommodation in Luang Prabang center town.
Kuangsi Waterfalls: This adventure destination package takes you to Kuang Si Waterfalls. These waterfalls are magnificent and impressive. Relax and enjoy the spectacular natural beauty of waterfalls. Water from upstream cascades down jagged limestone cliffs into turquoise blue pools of various sizes. We will have 2 hours to explore the three-tiered waterfall, walk along a nature preserve trail, swim in refreshing turquoise puddles, and visit a bear conservation center. Adventurous may walk up the steep path to the top of the falls for a spectacular view.
On the way, we will stop at Ban Na Uang (a Hmong resettlement village). Here you can meet the Hmong people who originally lived in the highlands.
Have lunch at the restaurant.

Stop 2

Crossing the mighty Mekong River by small boat to the base of a limestone cliff, the site of the Pak Ou Cave. The lower cave is impressive and filled with Buddhist statues and relics. Take your time to explore the reverent scene scented with burning incense and overlooking the impressive Mekong landscape. Up a winding series of stairs, grab a flashlight and you'll find another fascinating and easily navigated cave to explore with it's ancient Buddhist relics.

Our trip makes its last short stop at the Ban Xang Hai, also known as the Whisky Village. Here you see the process of making Lao Lao, the country’s beloved rice whiskey, and taste the fresh local delights. Why not pick up a couple of bottles for later?

We’ll end this full day with a return drive to Luang Prabang late afternoon and in time for your own evening activities.
