At Pico do Arieiro, enjoy an unforgettable sunrise (weather permitting). Sometimes clouds may block the view — refunds are not possible in such cases. You can optionally hike part of the PR1 “Stairs of Heaven” trail (1.2 km, €3 fee) for breathtaking views, returning within about 45 minutes after sunrise.
The tour continues to the Glass Platform at Guindaste Viewpoint, where you can admire the ocean through a transparent floor.
The final adventure is the 7 km Larano Trail, a moderate 2.5-hour coastal hike between Machico and Porto da Cruz, revealing Madeira’s dramatic cliffs and wild beauty.
After the hike, relax as you’re dropped off at your hotel, ending a day filled with incredible landscapes and unforgettable moments.
