For guests outside of the pickup area then MERCHANTS ROAD in GALWAY CITY is the meeting point. You will find a White Toyota Proace Verso ‘Fat Bike Galway’ vehicle at the location.
Then sit back and enjoy the scenery as we journey into the wonderful Connemara region.
Experience the thrill of riding an electric fat tyre bike through the diverse landscapes of Connemara to fully experience this magical region.
An electric fat bike ride is a leisurely cycle suitable for all fitness levels and capabilities with a minimum age of 14 years old.
It’s easy and fun for everybody with a typical cycle time of approximately 3 hours including comfort stops, time for photos etc.
We will start with a familiarisation of your RadRhino electric bike including ample time to practice in a safe area.
Connemara has an abundance of changing landscapes, wonderful features and attractions to enjoy along our cycle route.
Loch Na Fooey is a fresh water lake with breathtaking scenery. Here, there's opportunity to experience a captivating Sheepdog Demonstration where you'll witness skilled dogs expertly herding sheep, offering an authentic taste of rural Irish life. An ‘off the beaten track’ route explores the regions surrounding lower Lough Mask. Stop and take a break at the fabulous lookout to admire the views over the lake.
Lunch choices for a sit down meal in Clonbur village or a casual picnic stop close by are recommended options.
The day ends in comfort as you sit back to enjoy the return journey to Galway City with drop off to your accommodation or at the meeting point.
