Begin with a morning pick-up at 6.30am from your hotel in Delhi, Gurgaon, Noida, or the Delhi Airport and drive 3hrs to the City of Taj Mahal, Agra. Once you arrive at Agra, meet your tour guide at a local hotel. He will brief you on your upcoming sightseeing tour, you can refresh in the lobby bathrooms before embarking on your adventure.

Stop 2

Head to the breathtaking Taj Mahal (a Unesco World Heritage Site). No trip to Agra would be complete without a visit to this iconic building of domes and minarets. This tomb stands testimony to the timeless love story of the 17th century Mughal Emperor, Shah Jahan, and his wife, Mumtaz Mahal. Just immerse yourself in its amazing architecture, history, and beauty. The magical allure of the Taj Mahal shall definitely be the highlight of your tour.

Next, visit the imposing red sandstone Agra Fort (a UNESCO World Heritage Site). It was the main residence of the emperors of the Mughal Dynasty until 1638 and one of the finest Mughal forts in India. The elegant buildings inside reflect an interesting synthesis of Hindu and Central Asian architectural styles. The maze of the courtyards, mosques & private chambers of the fort echo the story of the Mughal Empire.

You will then enjoy lunch at a local restaurant, followed by free time for shopping. Agra is known for its fabulous handicrafts made of marble and soft stone inlay work. Agra's major handicraft products besides inlay work are leatherware, brassware, carpets, jewellery and embroidery work.

Afterward, Drive to Mathura. See the Dwarkadhish Temple, a must-see for believers, and the Krishna Janmabhoomi Temple, said to be Lord Krishna's birthplace. Afterwards, go to Vrindavan, which is 15 kilometres from Mathura, to see the well-known Banke Bihari Temple, renowned for its distinctive architecture and exquisite interiors. Visit the ISKCON Temple as well, which is another popular sight in Vrindavan. Take an optional boat trip and take in the Aarti ritual at Yamuna River in the evening.

Mathura is believed to be the birthplace of Lord Krishna, and it is home to several ancient temples and shrines that are dedicated to him. The most famous of these is the Krishna Janmabhoomi Temple, which is believed to be the exact spot where Lord Krishna was born. The temple has several sanctums and altars, and it is a popular pilgrimage site for Hindus.

Located in Vrindavan, the Banke Bihari Temple is another famous temple that is dedicated to Lord Krishna.
