The Bell Tower on the Tito Square is one of the most popular city sights, also due to the amazing view, which the visitors can enjoy from the top of the city tower.

From the central town square, you can turn into the winding main walking alley of the old town centre, Čevljarska ulica.
Its name stems from the fact that, in the past, cobblers’ workshops were mainly situated there. Otherwise also known as Calegaria, this street has been welcoming traders and artisans for centuries. Their business premises are located on the ground floors of some palaces. Here, you can also admire various palaces and special houses, some of which are slightly secluded from the street.

One of the main attractions of Koper is definitely the Muda Gate – one of the main gates and the only still preserved city gate (of the former twelve gates of the external defensive wall), which was built in 1516, in the Renaissance style.

The Da Ponte Fountain is a fountain in the city of Koper, in southwestern Slovenia. It is located at Prešeren Square, formerly known as Muda Square.
