Detailed itinerary

1

This captivating Tropical Island Private Tour commences at the center of Fort-de-France city or hotels. Step into a comfortable, air-conditioned private vehicle, embarking on a 30-minutes journey through the scenic beauty of Martinique.

2

The first stop on your journey is the Sacred Heart of Balata Catholic Church, located just a short drive away. It bears a striking resemblance, in miniature form, of the renowned Sacré-Coeur Basilica in Paris. Perched atop a hill, the church offers a splendid vantage point from which you can admire the panoramic view of Fort-de-France and its surroundings.

3

After exploring Tropical Rainforest Road, continue your journey on the well-known panoramic Route de la Trace. This winding road passes through parts of the rainforest, offering breathtaking views of the lush green landscape. Along the way, you'll encounter a variety of vegetation including bamboo and fern trees, and occasionally even drive through the rainforest itself.

4

The Cascade du Saut du Gendarme is one of the many waterfalls in the northern mountain range of Martinique. Along the way, you will also see the Alma River and be amazed by the Saut Gendarme waterfall.

5

The next stop is the former Depaz Castel & Rum distillery at the foot of Mount-Pelee volcano. You can learn about the property's history and see old machines and devices. Although rum is not made there anymore, you can still understand the process. Don't forget to try the white and dark rums in the beautiful setting.

6

Following the break, your guide will lead you to a nearby black sand beach where you can explore at your own pace. Take a moment to immerse yourself in the unique experience of walking on dark volcanic sand and enjoy the tranquil atmosphere. You can also take a refreshing swim if you wish.

7

Saint-Pierre is a famous city in north-west Martinique. It is located at the foot of the volcano Montagne Pelée. The city used to be the island's capital, but it was almost completely destroyed by a volcanic eruption in 1902. Today, you can still see the ruins of the eruption in Saint-Pierre. Despite the tragedy, the village is peaceful and has a beautiful bay. After the eventful day, your tour guide will bring you back to the port. Enjoy your shore excursion in Fort-de-France!

8

After the guided tour, relish in 1 hour of free time. Your guide will drop you off at a convenient location, allowing you to savor lunch and indulge in some retail therapy.

9

After a day filled with delights, our comfortable private vehicle will whisk you back to your hotel or city center, brimming with cherished memories. Trust our decade-long expertise in organizing private tours and exploring the city view with utmost comfort and peace of mind.
