Detailed itinerary

1

This captivating Morning Market, Villages and Kuang Si Waterfall excursion commences at the center of Luang Prabang city or hotels. Step into a comfortable, air-conditioned private vehicle, embarking on a 30-minutes journey through the scenic beauty of Laos.

2

The Phosi market is by far the biggest market in Luang Prabang. Three quarters of it is covered, there are several hundred merchants of all kinds proposing a large variety of products. You can find there vegetable gardeners as well as small stalls selling clothes (always in the Chinese style), merchants for health products, school materials, hardware, etc.

3
Stop 3

Kuang Si Falls are arguably the most beautiful in the country, if not the world, being made up of multiple tiers, descending from deep lagoons at the top to shallow milky-blue paddling pools at the bottom, with a tangled ribbon of smaller cascading waterfalls in between.

4

Run by Free the Bears, this excellent centre cares for a large population of wild Asiatic Moon bears confiscated from poachers who sell them to horrendous bile farms serving the appetites of Chinese traditional medicine. These happy little yogis merit equal reason for your visit as the cascades themselves. The centre depends on donations and sponsorship: buy a T-shirt or adopt a bear.

5

Ban Phanom is a village in Luangphabang province, Laos. It is located 6 kilometers east of Luangprabang. The Lue people of this village are known particularly for their weaving of cotton and silk. Selling to tourists is now paramount to the local economy. Nearby is the Muo Tomb, where Henri Muo is laid to rest.

6

After the guided tour, relish in 1 hour of free time. Your guide will drop you off at a convenient location, allowing you to savor lunch and indulge in some retail therapy.

7

After a day filled with delights, our comfortable private vehicle will whisk you back to your hotel or city center, brimming with cherished memories. Trust our decade-long expertise in organizing private tours and exploring the city view with utmost comfort and peace of mind.
