This captivating Colombo excursion commences at the hotel. A warm welcome awaits you from our friendly driver just out in the hotel hall. Step into a comfortable, air-conditioned private vehicle, embarking on a 90 minutes journey through the scenic beauty of Colombo.

Leave for Ingiriya which is the nearest tea field from Colombo. Sri Lanka is well known for its wide variety of teas. This tour gives you an opportunity to visit the tea factory at Ingiriya, a Tea Plantation located in the western area of Sri Lanka. Enjoy a relaxing 90-minute journey to Inigiriya Tea Plantation, where you'll be welcomed with aromatic garlands made of tea leaves. Visit the tea plantation and the rubber plantation area where you can witness the tea plucking (a process that requires skill and can determine whether tea attains its full flavor signature) and rubber tapping (a special method of cutting to extract latex from a rubber tree) activities. Proceed to a tea factory, where some of the best tea in the world is produced. Here you'll observe the process of manufacturing tea, learn how tea is graded, and ultimately taste a cup of pure Ceylon tea in the place where it's grown, harvested, graded, and processed.

Seema Malaka is a Buddhist temple in Colombo, Sri Lanka. The temple is mainly used for meditation and rest, rather than for worship. Situated in the Beira Lake, the temple was originally constructed in the late 19th century.
