The Taipei Xia-Hai City God Temple is a temple dedicated to the City God or Cheng Huang Ye in Taipei, Taiwan.
The temple was built in 1856. Located in Da-Dao Cheng, a port city that at the time was one of the better-developed areas in Taiwan, the Xia-Hai City God temple ensures prosperity and peace through its blessings.
One of these tea shops, run by the Wang family, moved to Taiwan from China in 1890. Their shop was their base for the export of tea to Southeast Asia. We will have the opportunity to visit Wang’s tea factory and discover the traditional way to produce and store tea. The store’s staff and our friendly guides will guide you through the basic types of tea (oolong, black, green, tieguanyin, etc.) and demonstrate how to perform a Taiwanese tea ceremony.

Shin Hong Choon Tea” was built in 1934 by a Dadaocheng tea merchant who came to Taiwan to seek business opportunities. It was designated as a municipal historic site in 2009

Dadaocheng's fortunes as a trading center went into decline during the Japanese colonial era. In recent years, however, this area has experienced a revival as a tourism destination, bicycling spot, and departure point for boat tours along the Tamsui River.
