What a strange scene – a bay where the sea is a mix of yellow and blue! This is Yin Yang Sea (陰陽海), located beside the northern coastal road.

The Golden Waterfall is a waterfall located near a village named Jiufen in Ruifang District, New Taipei, Taiwan.
The waterfall runs off into what is called the Yin-Yang Sea, and because of the color of the water, it has long been assumed that it was polluted. However, recently it has been discovered that the color of the water is a natural occurrence.

One of the items I really wanted to check off from Taipei is visiting Jiufen. Jiufen is a small village in the mountains located 1-hour drive from Taipei. It has been made famous largely due to its similarity to the village in Spirited Away, arguably Hayao Miyazaki’s most popular movie.

A scenic waterfall located in Pingxi District, New Taipei City, Taiwan, on the upper reaches of the Keelung River. The falls' total height is 20 metres (66 ft) and 40 metres (130 ft) in width, making it the broadest waterfall in Taiwan. Shifen Old Street is a bustling hub for those eager to get a glimpse of an old railroad town which still retains the charm of yesteryear. Originally built to transport coal, the Shifen Old Street stop has now become one of the most popular on the Pingxi rail-line. It is easy to see why so many are drawn here - local food, souvenir shops and puffing trains add to the charm of this little gem, as well as make it a fantastic place for photography.
