Alma-Arasan is a picturesque mountain gorge located in the southwest of Alma-Ata. It is located at an altitude of 1780 meters on the northern slope of the Zailiyskiy Alatau. The Prokhodnaya River, a tributary of the Bolshaya Almatinka, flows through the gorge. At an altitude of 3609 meters above sea level, the gorge ends with the Almaty Pass.
Kok-Zhailau is a tract in the Ile-Alatau State National Nature Park, located from east to west between the Small and Big Almaty gorges, 10 km from the city of Almaty in Kazakhstan. The absolute height of the tract is 1450-1740 m above sea level.
“Butakovskiy waterfall” is one of our tourist attraction. It is situated not far fom Almaty (less then 10 kilometers). You can find it near a small river, outfalled in Butakovka, 4 kilometers upper then famous sport complex. The main climbing wall near the waterfall is the left wall. It’s height is approximately 70 meters. There is several anchors on the top for the overhead safety.
