Patusai is a war memorial in the center of Vientiane. Patusai is dedicated to the soldiers who fought for independence from France. Although the Patusai Arch is analogous to the Arc de Triomphe in Paris, its design is typically Lao, decorated with a mass of mythological figures such as kinnars.
