Ephesus is an ancient city in the Turkish Aegean region near the modern city of Selcuk. The ruins discovered during archaeological excavations allow us to trace its history from the times of Ancient Greece and the Roman Empire, when it was an important trading center in the Mediterranean, to the era of the spread of Christianity. To the southwest of Selcuk is a popular pilgrimage site - the House of the Virgin Mary, where the Virgin Mary is believed to have spent the last years of her life.
Kusadasi is a Turkish resort town on the Aegean coast, where cruise ships often stop. From here you can go on an excursion or walk through the ruins of the ancient city of Ephesus. The local waterfront, marina and harbor are surrounded by numerous hotels and restaurants. On Pigeon Island, connected to the city by a dam, there is a Byzantine castle surrounded by a fortress wall, which once served a defensive function.
After the guided tour, relish in 2 hours of free time. Your guide will drop you off at a convenient location, allowing you to indulge in some walk.
After a day filled with delights, our comfortable private vehicle will whisk you back to your hotel, brimming with cherished memories.
