Seoraksan National Park is a national park in South Korea. It is listed by the South Korean government with UNESCO as a tentative World Heritage Site. The government designated the area as a nature reserve in 1965 and UNESCO designated it as a biosphere reserve in 1982.

Namiseom or Nami Island is a half-moon-shaped river island located in Chuncheon, Gangwon Province, South Korea, formed as the land around it was inundated by the rising water of the North Han River as the result of the construction of Cheongpyeong Dam in 1944.

All sorts of cargo move in and out of Dongmyeong Port each day. Watch big ships sail in and out and towering cranes loading and unloading containers.
Dongmyeong Port is free to enter, so you can have a great day out in Sokcho without opening your wallet. When you've finished at this waterfront industrial area, have a look at some of the area's other popular spots. Sokcho Beach, Seorak Waterpia, and Naksansa won't disappoint.
