Start your day trip to Jodhpur with pickup at your centrally-located hotel in Udaipur, or Udaipur Junction railway station. Choose from multiple departure times (advise at booking time) to suit your schedule. On the way to Jodhpur, first stop at the Kumbhalgarh Fort, a UNESCO World Heritage site. Enjoy the great view and learn about the history of the fort. Next head the complex of the Ranakpur Jain temples in the Aravalli range stuns the visitor with its intricate carvings and exquisite beauty. Learn about the history of this 15th-century temple and unique architecture, including numerous pillars. See the large colony of monkeys that inhabit the temple and surrounding area. Kumbhalgarh fort is at a drive of around 3 hours from Udaipur. It is a mewar fortress built by Rana Sangha in the 15th century. This fort is a UNESCO world heritage site. The highlight of the fort is a 36 km long perimeter walls, which is the second longest wall after the wall of china. The other monuments in the fort comprises of ganesh temple and jain temple.

The temple houses more than 400 pillars, all of which are beautifully engraved. The place os really peaceful and surely gives a great holy feel. While you are here, do not miss out on the evening Aarti. You can get a good idea about the history of the temple and place from the priest family that manages the temple.
