We keep this full day itinerary flexible to let you customize the tour but here's a feel for what we'll see.
Pick up in Downtown Boston, taking the 60 minute highway drive to Manchester-by-the-Sea, where we pick up the scenic back roads.
We'll take a picturesque country road to Gloucester, where we stop to walk along the waters edge to the Fisherman's memorial statue.
We'll continue the scenic drive to Rockport, where there's a great collection of cute stores to browse and views to admire.
Then drive to Salem, where we have time for a short walking tour around the main sites and historic spots.
To finish out the day we'll squeeze in a few more ocean views on our drive back to Boston.
We'll stop along the way for lunch (not included in price of tour).

The drive from Boston to Gloucester is ~ 1 hour, so we'll take the highway part of the way, then pick up a scenic route to the Gloucester visitor center.
Here's we'll walk out on to the rocks, for a view across the bay.

Using back roads, we'll take the scenic route from Gloucester to Rockport, stopping along the way for some of the best NE coastline you'll ever see
Stop in the town of Rockport to admire the views, the working harbor and artsy shops
After Rockport, we'll head to Salem, it's about a 30 minute drive
Stop at the town famous for the Witch Trials of 1692. We'll take a short walking tour around the historic sites of the town
Some last views of Cape Ann, stunning rocky views and a scenic drive back to Boston
