About this experience

The Original Excursion. Discover in one day, the most emblematic places of Tangier. We offer you a trip with departure by fast ferry from Tarifa, with transfers and lunch.

Get to know this wonderful Moroccan city, accompanied by an FRS assistant and a Moroccan guide.
You will make a panoramic visit of the modern city of Tangier and then dive into the most historical part such as the Kasbah, the Medina and the Souk, passing through the Mendoubia garden, and a stop at the Roman Necropolis.

You will enjoy some free time for shopping and wandering around the streets of the Zoco and the Media.

Lunch in a typical Moroccan restaurant, where you will taste this fascinating gastronomy, such as Harira soup, beef kebabs, couscous and a tea accompanied by a Moorish pastry. All this accompanied by live music (drinks not included).

Finally, we will take you to the Port of Tangier Ville to board the ferry back to Tarifa.

Detailed itinerary

You will meet with the FRS guide at Port in Tarifa to go on board to the ferry. You will travel in a fast ferry to Tangier Ville. The crossing takes around 1 hour. Then, Once you will be in Tangier, you will disembark at the Port of Tangier Ville and an additional local guide come with you and our FRS guide to start the tour.

Panoramic tour of the modern city of Tangier. On this bus tour you will see the whole of the modern city of Tangier.

Walking tour through the Kasbah, medina and souk, passing through the Mendoubia Gardens* with our local guide and the the necropolis and contemplate one of the oldest areas of the city of Tangier on foot.
*On Saturdays, sundays and bank holidays, the Mendoubia Gardens are closed, so the Dar Dbagh Museum will be visited instead.

Lunch in a typical Moroccan restaurant where you will be able to taste the gastronomy of the country with live music. Lunch consists of: Harira soup, Couscous, a beef kebab, tea and a Moroccan sweet. Drinks

Free time in the souk and the Medina. You can stroll around at your leisure and do all the shopping you want at your own pace.

After finish your free time for shopping and discover Tangier old town at your own pace we will come back to the bus we have used for the tour with the 2 guides (local and FRs guide) to go to the Port of Tangier Ville to take the ferry for come back to Tarifa. The crossing with the fast ferry will take the same duration than in the morning. Then we will arrive after one hour and half to the Port of Tarifa, and disembark and the excursions is finished
