Mikumi is a jewel. Its variety of landscapes, grassy plains, woodlands, and a water hole are surrounded by three striking mountain ranges. The park is home to a wide range of animals, including lions, leopards, and hippos, to name but a few. It’s also a great place to see elephants, giraffe, impala, the rare African hunting dog and over 400 species of birds.
The open space, wide skies and wonderful wildlife all contained in a relatively small area make it a perfect location for a day or two day safari.
