A Trio of Portuguese Wines

Indulge in a curated tasting of three distinct Portuguese wines—each paired with a delicious local appetizer :

Crisp White Wine – Fresh and floral
Green Wine (Green Wine) – Light, slightly effervescent
Rich Port Wine – Deep, velvety, and sweet, served with dark chocolate

Each pairing tells a story—of the vineyards of the Douro Valley, the coastal breezes of Minho, and the heritage of Port cellars that have shaped this region for centuries.

As you sip and savour, glide past Porto’s most iconic sights : the Ribeira district, the Dom Luís I Bridge, and the ancient wine cellars lining the riverbanks. Soft music and the gentle rhythm of the waves create the perfect atmosphere for romance, friendship, or simple indulgence.

Whether you’re a wine enthusiast or simply looking for a magical moment on the water, this tour promises an unforgettable blend of flavour, scenery, and serenity.

On 22 DE June 1963 was finally inaugurated, under the mandate DE Nuno Pinheiro Torres, the Bridge DA Arrábida, with four lifts so that the pedestrians could exceed the distance of seventy meters from the river to the board, making pedestrian crossing much easier.

Rabelo boats are typical of the Douro River. For decades they transported the famous Port Wine between the remote wine region and the cellars DE Villa Nova DE Gaia. Since there were no roads or railways, the producing farms had only the river as a means DE transport of barrels. At that time no dams had been built, so the river Douro was very treacherous, with rapid currents that became more dangerous in the narrow streams. The task DE sailing therefore required experienced sailors who could carry the precious nectar to a safe harbor.
With the completion OF the railway line, it is thought that the last journey OF these vessels for the transport of Port Wine took place in 1964

Getting in the tram is like dive into the past. Its interior remains true to the design of the early 20th century, where wood and iron reign supreme. The seat backs have a peculiar feature: they move, allowing the passenger to choose which side to turn to during the journey.
When visiting the port do not need to embark on Line 1 and be surprised by the wonderful landscapes of this unforgettable route.
