Mostar is our first destination, and it's a city that has a fascinating history and rich culture. Upon arrival, you'll be greeted by the stunning sight of the city's most famous landmark, the Old Bridge. This magnificent structure spans the emerald-green waters of the Neretva River and is a UNESCO World Heritage Site. You'll have time to explore the cobbled streets of the old town, admire the city's stunning architecture, and shop for unique souvenirs.Mostar is the most important city of Hercegovina that has been shaped by its past, and its diverse cultural influences are evident in its architecture, cuisine, and customs.You'll learn about the history of the Ottoman Empire, which ruled the region for centuries, as well as the impact of the Austro-Hungarian Empire, which followed.After exploring the old town, you'll have time to enjoy lunch at one of the many restaurants in Mostar.
