Embark on a day-long adventure starting with an energizing canoe ride along the Ljubljanica River and ending with deliciously refreshing craft beer tastings by the river. The path will take you from a lush green backdrop, to the urban city streets of Ljubljana. Your companion of the day will be a special souvenir mug that will be filled with craft beers from 6 different brewers from Ljubljana and its surroundings and, every so often, a delicious swig of water from public drinking fountains. The beer tasting in Ljubljana’s pubs will be accompanied by excellent street food. The final stop on this adventure will be the tour of a brewery and a chance to mingle in its tap room.
You will see all main Ljubljana points of interest from the outside: the town's historic center with the main square, Triple Bridge, Cathedral, Covered market, Plečnik's UNESCO heritage, Cobblers bridge, Fish Square, Trnovo district, Ljubljanica River, Slovenska street etc.
You will take a canoe ride on the Ljubljanica River, passing by the town's green outskirts to the Ljubljana marshes and ending the ride at the historical town's center.
You will be tasting Ljubljana's craft beer at 7 different pubs, you'll eat delicious street food at three of the locations.
You will visit the brewery and it's tap room with a brewer or brewery's staff, who will show you around and deliver beer tastings.
We meet at the confluence of the Gradaščica and Ljubljanica rivers, on the Jek Bridge (Jekarski Most), overlooking Plečnik's staircase. Your local guide will be waiting for you there, wearing a t-shirt with a beer icon.
