About this experience

Private one-day tour in the Saona. We will visit the natural pool with the speedboat where the finest sand bank without stones is, with drinks, you will have fun with the sea stars, which are under restrictions but you can see them, that place is called (Lagun Azul). Then we will continue to observe the channel that divides Saona Island with the mainland, the channel of Catuano, also the protected part of the mangroves and turtles. After there we will be in the paradise of the Caribbean. We will be visiting two parts of the island (Abanico and Catuano). The fan part to enjoy the beauty of paradise without many people and lunch will be in Catuano where our private and personalized restaurant will be. Alcoholic drinks, soft drinks and mineral water on the boat and everywhere with our private boat. And also to finish we will be snorkeling for lovers of marine life (corals and fish in Bayahibe.

Leaving the port of Bayahibe towards the natural pool, travelers will sail on the Caribbean Sea along the coast of Dominicus, observing the hotels on the coast, the national park, the small ancient house of the Taïnos and the natural pool. The natural pool is a shallow sand bank where travelers will be bathing, swimming, enjoying our famous free Cuba and more. There is also the part where many movies were filmed such as Blue Lagoon from the 1980s by Brooke Shields and Christopher Atkins. It is also the part where the sea stars that are in restrictions live. And you will see the separation of the two islands, Hispañola and Saona, which are divided by the Catuano Channel between the Caribbean Sea and the Atlantic.

Saona Island is one of the largest and most inhabited island in the Dominican Republic, 110 kilometers long. There is a town called ManoJuan with around 300 inhabitants. We will visit two most striking parts of the island, Catuano and Abanico, the Abanico part to enjoy the beauty of the tropical paradise, sunbathing and swimming, and Catuano for lunch, rest and enjoying the sea.

Palmilla Beach is located on the mainland, Hispañola Island, where we will be showing the sea stars in the water, having the opportunity to swim over it and also observe the turtles and mangroves that are near the Catuano channel.
