Detailed itinerary

Stop 1

You will be walking under a great archway known as the "Porta Libitina" or "Gate of Death" directly onto the reconstructed Arena Floor, where the savage games once took place. Facing death at the hands of ferocious human or animal opponents, gladiators fought on this Arena floor, where most Colosseum visitors aren’t allowed.

Stop 2

Sandwiched between the Roman Forum and the Circus Maximus, is the Palatine Hill. This awe-inspiring area of towering pine trees, majestic ruins and unparalleled views was where Romulus was said to have founded Rome in 753 B.C. This is also where Rome's emperors lived in opulent luxury. Once one of ancient Rome’s most exclusive neighborhoods, the Palatine Hill is still an awe-inspiring place.

Stop 3

Your private guide will be taking you to the Roman Forum which is full of incredible ruins. Customers have a mandatory meeting time stated 30 minutes prior the scheduled departure time due to managing and organization reasons.

PLEASE NOTE: All participant names are required at the time of booking in order to enter the Colosseum. If we do not receive the full customers names, the booking won’t be confirmed. Name changes and cancellations are not permitted once the booking is confirmed.

In case of late arrival, no show or cancellation beyond the limits indicated in the cancellation policy by the customer, a refund is not foreseen.

Due to increased security measures at many attractions some lines may form on tours with ‘Skip the Line’ access.

Each traveler must present a valid passport or ID document that matches the name provided at the time of booking for successful entry to the Colosseum and Roman Forum.

Meeting point

From the Metro station Colosseo, turn right on Via del Fori Imperiali and go straight to the first traffic light, then turn right on Via Cavour and turn left on the 2nd street, Via del Cardello. You will find the meeting point on Via del Cardello, 31.
