The 100 Ton Gun is one of only two of these guns left in the world. It was installed in the early nineteenth century and worth a visit.

Located on the southeastern tip of Gibraltar is home to Europa Point Lighthouse, also referred to as the Trinity Lighthouse. The lighthouse was inaugurated in 1841 and after a few upgrades is still a functioning lighthouse today. Europa Point offers some of the most fantastic views across the Strait to North Africa.

Catalan Bay, also known locally as ‘'La Caleta' is a small bay on the eastern side of the Rock. Catalan Bay was once a small fishing village and bay.

Gibraltar is known as one the of the Pillars of Hercules with the other across the Strait in Morocco, known as Jebel Musa. According to Greek Mythology Hercules had to cross the Atlas Mountains but instead of doing so he smashed through them separating the mountains but bringing together the Atlantic Ocean and Mediterranean Sea.

The Gibraltar Nature Reserve is what is famously known as “the Rock” area. Maintained and preserved by the Ministry of Environment, the Nature Reserve is a must visit. You will find an abundance of history, flora and fauna as well as the famous Barbary Macaques.

St Michael's Cave is the heart of the Rock. The cave has a great story and history and is also a unique space for concerts and shows due to the amazing acoustics.
In 2021 the cave opened the doors to “The Awakening”, a high tech light projection show that demonstrates the evolution and history of this remarkable natural site.

The impressive structure is made of 4 layers of laminated glass floors and sides, giving 360 views, 340 meters above sea level. This is where you will truly appreciate the magnificent views.

The Great Siege Tunnels , also known as the Upper Galleries, are a series of tunnels inside the Rock of Gibraltar. The British excavated the solid limestone during the Great Siege of Gibraltar in the late 18th century.
