Mosque have very strict dress codes: Women must wear long loose clothing, not transparent and ensure their arms and legs are fully covered. Women are also required to cover their heads at all times. For Mosque visit a long Abaya with scarf (long black dress attire) will be provided by the tour operator if booked in advance at a special discounted price of US$ 25 per set, which you can take back as a souvinier. Men must not show above their knees and must cover their shoulders. The guest do have option to pre-book and buy the Kandurah at just US$ 25 per set. Failure to follow the dress code will be a refused entry will be your sole responsibility.
It is not possible to visit the Sheikh Zayed Mosque or Qasr Al Watan (Royal Palace) during any Islamic festival or Presidential events.
